The equipment comprises of

Byteshooter caters for an extensive range of vehicles with access being gained via the diagnostic port commonly known as OBD. Byteshooter however allows for expansion with the addition of specialist leads (tool box) for vehicles not covered by the OBD connection however this is a rare occurrence. Byteshooter is the day to day main tuning tool covering 3-3500 makes and models of vehicles. The range covered by Byteshooter can be downloaded in our download section of our web site. There are numerous software updates throughout the year with new vehicles being added.

CMD BDM100 module and OBD option. This equipment caters mainly for the newest range of Diesels using the EDC16 range of ECUs…it might look a little daunting however its really very simple and involves removing the ECU from the vehicle and taking the back off of it. Contact with the ECU is made with small contact pads on the ECUs circuit board. This allows the BDM100 software to read the ECU file details and also re-programme it with a Response chip. The BDM modules range is also starting to expand to cover not only Diesel vehicles & Trucks but also Petrol turbo and even normally aspirated vehicles, further complementing the range of vehicles that can be improved. This piece of equipment covers over 1000 makes and models of vehicles The range covered by CMD can be downloaded in our download section of our web site. CMD,s OBD tool is used in the majority of the cases and is a very useful tool especially when dealing with new vehicles as these in many cases can only be flashed by the BDM method until an OBD solution is developed for it.

Powergate which follows the same route as the Byteshooter and gains access to the ECU via the OBD port, which in turn is connected to your lap top. It a great tool that we use just for the Ford range. The other pieces of equipment have ford listings but Powergate is the most comprehensive.

Tuning Suite covers the listings shown in red on our web sites vehicle listings. It covers many of the vehicles out there with Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Efi, Denso,Kefico & Keijin ECUs which runs into the hundreds ! These have in many cases meant that there have not been any tuning solutions for vehicles using these ECUs. The range covered by the Tuning suite can be downloaded in our download section of our web site. This equipment deals with reflashing via a BDM method together with OBD options depending on the vehicle. Most of the bench reflash methods will evolve to an OBD connection over time.

Contact is maintained primarily via MSN or Skype. Of course that does not mean you cant call us however you will find that this method of contact is superb. It allows constant access to us and allows questions to be answered fast. In addition this portal is used for the uploading and downloading of files.

Computer obviously you will need a computer and we suggest a lap top. You don't need anything too fancy however it must have 2 USB ports. Mobile broadband is quiet common now and there are some superb deals about.
