Firstly, thank you.
What a major difference. When I first called in, unsure about the advantages of remap and whether or not to go down that route or not you said "just do it"-seriously sound advice that I'd pass on to anyone. The smoothness of the power delivery and extra pull the car now has is just about unbelievable, far more than I'd anticipated, even more unbelievable is that even when booting around the OBC is showing 50mpg, thats 7mpg up on when I brought it in!! The spots where power was flat have been filled which is great. With £2 a litre of fuel on the way the remap will definitely pay for itself. I'll certainly be recommending Turbopacs. Marc. Phew........brilliant.
At first, although there is much better pick up
throttle seems to work across ALL of its travel,
before first 1 - 2 inches was like taking up the
slack, response is immediate. Where the
noticeable difference is mid range in 3, 4, 5, 6th
gears. Just basically SQUEEZE the throttle and
instant response. Did this a couple of tines on
A1 /A19 coming up to ''slower'' cars. They
seemed to take ages to move but then I
accelerated. The difference, looking at speedo
was doing 15 - 20 mph more than before. Just
was well i have gps speed camera warning on
dash. From 40 mph upwards, no need to
change down to get fast pick up. Think I'll have
to play monopoly..... Is there a stage 3??? --.

Hi Marc

Long time no speak!!!
My apologies for that, as I have been meaning to write
for quite some time now.
It seems even more untimely as were now bedecked in
snow!
Anyway I must thank you for completely transforming
my 748!
Wow what a ride it is now, thank you thank you thank
you!
Even with me just running it in again, it turns quicker
and wants to charge out of the corners much faster.
Christmas descends on us quickly now, thus I simply
have no time to bring the bike up to you.
However I remember you saying that your van
sometime heads down this way.
Thus I was wondering if it was possible for you to come
and collect it?
I am in no rush, so please don’t break a leg, as it were
to get here.
Should you not be able to collect it before Jan then
there’s no problem.
The summer feels a long way away!!!!
